The Power of Vision

How often do you disqualify yourself through being overly critical of yourself?

How often do you seem to be inspired with an idea, only to then start chipping

⭕ I’m not experienced enough

⭕I’m not qualified enough

⭕I don’t have enough money

⭕Who is going to listen to what I have to say?

But the truth is, if you wait to have everything in place before you start, you will never start!

You simply have to use what you know or what you simply have within your means at the time and start. With a view to add and build as you progress and move forward.

Your fuel to anything is your inward motivation, your ‘Why‘. If you throw cold water on it internally, you will never get going. So how do you fan the flames?

For one you must change the script and reframe that inner critic. For every reason that comes to take you away from your plan find the reason to move you towards your plan.

If Steve Jobs had listen to the leading companies in 1998 he would never of changed the world of music, communications, social media and the use of the internet. The iMac and iPod and iPhone were revolutionary in every way and his competitors hand to up their game because of his ideas.

This 2007 talk demonstrates some of Apples thought processes st the time.

Sometimes it’s best to just do it. Don’t tell anyone just action your plan and ‘crack on!’

The reaction of people can also be a sure way to cause you to doubt and second guess yourself. I have certainly experienced this in the past and regretted it. Because I found that I had inadvertently opened up myself to the negative chat or lukewarm responses of others.

Have you ever tried to get past people’s responses that play like a tape in your mind? It’s not easy. So try to save yourself any pain.

Helpful Tips or Ideas

2. Use a Planner to help direct your thoughts and map out your goals or steps on a weekly and monthly basis.

3. Write a list of reasons why you want to do what you have in mind?

4. What would it change or improvement?

5. How would this change your life?

6. How would it make you feel to see your plans become a reality?

7. What is the most important thing to remember?

Feel free to think of and add more questions? Keep them all positive like your vision board. Then get started for a New Year and new chapter😊 Happy planning.

Until my next post. Be the change you want to see.

Timing Is Everything!

Timing is everything! I’m sure you have heard this before and at times agreed.

It’s the difference between dipping at the opportune time and coming first or mistiming your lunge and coming second or third and at worst fourth and missing any medal.

Bitcoin has become the most recognised crypto currency, yet it’s not that long ago when it was alot less known and viewed as lesser known investment. For those who invested pre 2014 they experienced a meteoric increase by 2017. Where its said 1 bitcoin equalled up to $20,00.00. No wonder a number of people found that their lives changed significantly. This wave of course attracted alot of attention but needless to say that the early leap in price has not been replicated and of course there are alot more people who have since leaped onto the Bitcoin wagon, in the hope of a similar experience, but that boat has sailed for the first rise and many are hoping for a further wave, possibly bigger than the first.

Timing, timing, timing it’s the thing we can so easily take for granted, or overlook. Yet if we were to focus more on it, who knows how much we could improve things in our lives.

I’m sure there are things, that with a little more attention could bring in benefits. To be timely is not just about risk or luck. It’s also about discipline and drive. One of my favourite words is ‘intentionality.’ To be timely is to be intentional about the things in your life.

The end of the year is fast approaching and I know inspite of it being a difficult year many are already looking to 2021 and putting their goals and plans in place.

I too am looking ahead, and working on those things I would love to see in the first quarter of 2021.

Small changes can bring huge rewards if you are consistent with them.

So what have you been inconsistent in? Where have you allowed time to slip away unnecessarily? It’s never to late change or improve things🤩

Until my next post. Be the change you want to see.
